Muttom is located about 16 kms from Nagercoil
and 32 kms from Kanyakumari. Beautiful landscapes and the high rocks with waves
flashing on it are the notable beauty elements in Muttom. There is an old
light-house which was built by the British a century back which is one of the
attraction and the sun set view point at

Vattakottai Beach:
Vattakottai is located 6 kilometres from
Kanyakumari. This is a granite fort, which is an embankment built by
Marthanda Varma of Tranvancore for defensive purposes of Nanjil Nadu.
Vattakottai fort covers an area of about three
and a half acres.
